With the weather in my area being sunny for most part of the year, dry skin and uncomfortable skin has always been my
biggest problem. Although I’ve used a lot of moisturizer brands, none of them feel comfortable or provide with the level of hydration I need to keep my skin healthy. Luckily though, my jump from one brand to another in search of a good moisturizer led me to Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream. The first time I used it, I knew it was different because the texture is like no other. It’s lighter and more liquid than cream. Features And Benefits
This product comes with different features that make them an excellent moisturizer – at least for me. Following are some of the characteristics of this item.

Light And Easy To Use
I usually apply moisturizers using my hands although I heard some people like to use a brush or a pad for it. Like I said, the first thing I noticed about this product is that it’s more of a liquid than an actual cream, which is a good thing. This means that massaging it on my face is easier PLUS I could actually feel the moisture sinking in my skin. Compared to other products which just tends to sit there on top of my face, this moisturizing day cream really feels so much better! I could probably go all day just massaging it on my face because of the light and pleasant texture not to mention that fresh smell!
Maintains Quality Even After Long Coverage
Most moisturizers I have used last long on my skin – in the sense that it just sticks there, but not really provide the hydration effect that I want. So basically, after about two hours of applying my old moisturizers, the item tends to cake and make feel like I’ve been baking under the hot desert sun for hours. This doesn’t happen with the Dr. Hauschka as the cream doesn’t cake or feel like it’s solidifying on top of my skin. This is because the cream actually penetrates my skin, leaving my pores feeling fresh and hydrated even after hours of application. I don’t even do touch ups as often as I used to anymore.
All Natural With No Side Effects
Ok, so here are some of the ingredients of this moisturizer: Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Witch Hazel, Carrot, Olive, Essential Oil, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzyl Benzoate, water and many more. I tried checking them all out and found out that most of the products are extracted from natural items – like the carrot or that witch hazel extract. This means that the likelihood of side effects is very unlikely which makes it great for people with sensitive skin. I personally have a normal skin type and don’t usually suffer from allergies. However, I have a friend who has sensitive skin and this is exactly what she uses with no side effects whatsoever.
Good Price
Although the product is not exactly cheap, it definitely falls within my budget. Thanks to the watery texture of the item, it’s also incredibly easy to spread it around without using too much. Hence, the item actually lasts a long time before I ran out and have to buy another batch. Comparing the rate of its use and the price of the Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Cream per bottle, I’m actually getting a bargain here and so will you. Since I already mentioned that the product lasts long on your face, you also don’t have to worry about reapplication which only makes the item last longer, possibly several months depending on how often you need it.

Product Drawbacks
I really had no problem about this product except the smell was hard to get used to at first. After that though, the smell grew on me and now I love using it and the smell actually feels cleaner and fresher. If you’re used to other moisturizer brands, the smell might surprise you at first – it’s not really a bad smell, just different.

All in all, the Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream is now my go-to whenever I need extra hydration for my skin. I don’t use it every day but each time I feel as though my skin is dry, I know I have the best solution on my shelf. If you’re like me and the cake-like creams don’t really do it well for you, then this product is definitely the answer. Especially if dry skin is a chronic problem as the item literally seeps through the surface and provides a fresh feeling from the roots upward.
